The Studio 5000 Logix Designer application indicates the presence of fault conditions.
Fault conditions are reported in the following ways:

Warning Signal in the I/O Configuration Tree
As shown in
Figure
5, a warning icon appears in the I/O Configuration tree when a fault occurs.

Status and Fault Information in Module Properties
The Module Properties window in the Studio 5000 Logix Designer application includes a series
of views for the IO-Link master module. The numbers and types of views depend on the
module configuration.
Each view includes options to configure the module or monitor the status of the module. The
following are ways to monitor the state of a module for faults:
