Status Tags for IO-Link Master Module

Table 33
describes the available status tags ('S').
Data Type
Definition
BOOL
Indicates the operating state of the input.
Indicates if a connection is running.
BOOL
The module sets this tag to 0 when connected. If the
module is not connected, it sets this tag to 1.
Indicates if any diagnostics are active or if the
BOOL
prognostics threshold is reached.
Indicates if the module is synchronized with a
BOOL
1588 master.
Indicates if the module was previously synchronized
BOOL
with a 1588 master but is now timed out.
Increments for each time a distinct diagnostic condition
is detected, and when a distinct diagnostic condition
SINT
transitions from detected to not detected.
Sets to zero by product reset or power cycle. Wraps
from 255 (-1) to 1 skipping zero.
Indicates that port data is inaccurate and cannot be
trusted for use in the application.
BOOL
For more information, see
page
17.
Indicates that the port data can be inaccurate but the
degree of inaccuracy is not known.
BOOL
For more information, see
page
17.
BOOL
Indicates whether the Ethernet port is active.
Indicates whether the Ethernet port is running full-
BOOL
duplex mode or half-duplex mode when connected.
SINT
Indicates the status of link auto-negotiation.
Indicates the actual port speed in Mbps.
INT
A value of 0 means that the speed is undetermined.
INT
Total number of active TCP connections.
INT
Total number of active CIP connections.
DINT
Total number of lost CIP packets.
Total number of connection timeouts that have
DINT
occurred.
DINT
The packet rate between the module and HMI.
DINT
The packet rate to and from the module.
DINT
Total number of Ethernet errors.
INT
Total CPU load.

IO-Link Master Module and IO-Link Device Tag Definitions
Valid Values
0 = Idle
1 = Run mode
0 = Connection running
1 = Connection not running
0 = No diagnostics active
1 = One or more diagnostics are active or the prognostics
threshold is reached
0 = Module not synchronized
1 = Module synchronized
0 = A valid time master has not timed out
1 = A valid time master has timed out
-128...+127
The value of 0 is skipped except during module powerup.
0 = Good
1 = Bad, causing fault
If the tag is set to 1, you must troubleshoot the module to
Fault and Status Reporting on
correct the cause of the inaccuracy.
IMPORTANT: Once the condition that causes the tag to
change to 1 is removed, the tag automatically resets to 0.
0 = Good data
1 = Uncertain data
If the tag is set to 1, you must troubleshoot the module to
Fault and Status Reporting on
correct the cause of the inaccuracy.
IMPORTANT: Once the condition that causes the tag to
change to 1 is removed, the tag automatically resets to 0.
0 = Ethernet port is inactive
1 = Ethernet port is active
0 = Ethernet port is running in half-duplex mode
1 = Ethernet port is running in full-duplex mode
• 0 = Auto-negotiation in progress.
• 1 = Auto-negotiation and speed detection failed. Using
default values for speed and duplex. Default values
are product-dependent; recommended defaults are 10
Mbps and half-duplex.
• 2 = Auto negotiation failed, but detected speed. Duplex
was defaulted. Default value is product-dependent;
recommended default is half-duplex mode.
• 3 = Successfully negotiated speed and duplex mode.
• 4 = Auto-negotiation not attempted. Forced speed and
duplex mode.
• 10
