Remove the connector [1].
6.
Remove the screw [2] and raise the fusing claw
assy [3].
7.
Remove the connector [4] from the fusing claw
assy.
Note
• The fusing claw assy varies for bizhub 500
and 420. Be sure to check a punch mark [5]
and replace it with a right fusing claw assy.
bizhub 500: 50 GA
bizhub 420: 42 GA
• When installing the fusing claw assy, be care-
ful not to neglect attaching the connector [4].
• When installing the fusing claw assy, be sure
to insert the positioning sections [6] at 2
places into each of the projections [7].
• When installing the fusing claw assy, be care-
ful not to damage the roller surface with the
tip of the claw.
8.
Reinstall the above parts following the removal
steps in reverse.
