Releasing
Press down the red button on the fixed clasp.
The seat belt is spring-loaded to return to its stowage
position. Ensure that it returns fully and is not
twisted.
‹ WARNING
Always wear a seat belt when operating the ma-
chine. In an accident it may save your life.
‹ WARNING
Check the condition of the seat belt and mount-
ing hardware before operating the machine.
Replace the seat belt at least every three years,
regardless of the condition.
Note: Clean the seat belt regularly with a soap and
water solution.
Trainer Seat
The trainer seat, with backrest and seat belt is lo-
cated to the right of the operator's seat.
To use the seat the following must be done:-
Push the squab down.
Seat belt adjustment is the same as the operator's
seat belt adjustment.
Note: The squab is spring loaded to the UP position.

Miscellaneous
Bonnet Catch Release Lever
The bonnet catch release lever is located to the left
of the steering wheel below the dashboard .
The bonnet catch release lever is operated by pulling
the handle UP.
After the bonnet has been opened ensure that the
release lever is pushed downwards to the normal po-
sition.
If the bonnet release lever should fail, tilt the cab
slightly and release the left bonnet catch manually.
Do not tilt the cab completely as this will damage
the bonnet. Refer to Tilt the Cab procedure.
The right bonnet catch and the left bonnet catch are

connected by a link rod, thus when the left bonnet
catch is released the right catch will automatically be
released.
