Possible Cause
Sandwich block split and material
failure
Suspension strut nitrogen pressure
too high and the piston is at the end
of its stroke
Charging bolt valve leaking
Oil seals leaking
Hydraulic System Trouble Shooting
Possible Cause
Hydraulic fluid in hydraulic tank is
too low
Outlet pipe from the tank to the
pump is blocked
Hydraulic fluid viscosity and type is
incorrect
Pump intake is partially blocked
Breather is blocked
Remedy
Contact your BELL Product Support
Representative
Release the nitrogen pressure to get
the suspension strut to correct
height. Contact your BELL Product
Support Representative
Recharge the suspension strut to
the correct height and tighten the
charging bolt valve. Contact your
BELL Product Support Representa-
tive
Repair or replace the oil seals. Con-
tact your BELL Product Support
Representative
Remedy
Refill the hydraulic tank. Refer to
Recommended Fuel, Lubricants
and Coolant Chart
Check the suction strainer for block-
ages. Clean if necessary
Drain and refill the hydraulic system.

Clean the hydraulic tank strainer.
Check the hydraulic fluid condition, if
necessary drain and flush the sys-
tem and refill
Replace the breather filter
