Lower and Raise the Belly Plate

To perform some maintenance tasks it is necessary
to lower the belly plate for access.
Lower the Belly Plate
1. Position a trolley jack under the belly plate.
2. Raise the trolley jack until it touches against the
belly plate.
‹ WARNINGS
1, Be careful when lowering the belly plate as it
can cause injury or even death if it slips off the
trolley jack.
2. Keep personnel clear of the belly plate before
releasing the latch

3. Remove the two securing bolts (1 and 3).
4. Position yourself so that you are facing the re-
lease handle (2) and you are not beneath the
belly plate.
5. Pull the release handle.
6. Slowly lower the trolley jack.
7. Remove the trolley jack slowly, allowing the
belly plate to rest safely on the ground.
Raise the Belly Plate
‹ WARNING
Be careful when raising the belly plate as it can
cause injury or even death if it slips off the trolley
jack.
1. Manoeuvre a trolley jack under the belly plate so
that the belly plate can be safely raised.
2. Secure the release handle, install the bolts and
remove the trolley jack.

To Tilt the Cab

The machine's cab is hinged so that it may be tilted
for access to the hydraulics and transmission sys-
tem below.
Note: The wheel nut spanner is located at the side of
the operator's seat.
Note: The cab tilt pump is located under the left
wheel arch.
1. Close the cab doors.
2. Open the bonnet.
