Indicators and Headlight Control

The turn indicators and headlight high and low
beams are operated with a stalk switch on the steer-
ing column .
The operation of the stalk switch is as follows:
To indicate a right turn move the stalk towards the
operator (5).
To indicate a left turn move the stalk away from the
operator (2).
To select low beam (dip) headlights move the stalk
upwards (1).
For high beam headlights move the stalk downwards
(4).
To operate the horn press the end of the stalk (3).
Inter Axle Differential Lock Control
The inter axle differential lock control is located on
the left instrument panel.

‹ CAUTION
The inter axle differential lock control must not
be engaged while the machine wheels are spin-
ning.
‹ CAUTION
The inter axle differential lock control must only
be used when the ground conditions are very
poor and must not be used on graded or tar
roads.
Note: The inter axle differential lock can be engaged
while the machine is moving.
Note: The inter axle differential lock control is two
position rotary control and is operated as follows:-
The first position (normal) is inter axle differential
lock disengaged (O).
The second position (control turned clockwise) is in-
ter axle differential lock engaged (I).
Note: When the inter axle differential lock is en-
gaged the inter axle differential lock indicator will
illuminate.

Park Brake/Emergency Brake
The park brake is located on the left hand side of the
cab, next to the gear shift control unit.
The lever has three positions;
• RELEASE
• APPLY
• TEST
