Lifting the Machine
Note:
The machine lifting points are indicated in red
on the machine.
When lifting the machine the following must be done:
Park the transporting vehicle next to the ma-
chine being lifted.
Install the articulation safety lock bar.
Attach the chains to the machine lifting points
and the lifting beam.
Note: The lifting beam must be longer than the ma-
chine length to avoid damaging the machine and
must be able to carry the total machine weight
Attach the lifting beam to the crane.
Note: The crane must be able to carry total machine
weight.
Lift the lifting beam until all the play in the chain
is removed.
Lift the machine until it is clear of the transport-
ing vehicles trailer.

Note: The crane must be moved slowly to prevent
excessive swinging of the lifted machine
Move the machine over the transporting vehi-
cles trailer slowly.
When the machine is directly over the transport-
ing vehicle's trailer lower the machine onto the
trailer slowly, following the instructions of the
spotters.
Lower the lifting beam until the chain can be re-
moved from the machine.
Lift the lifting beam and move it away from the
machine.
Chock all the machine's wheels.
Secure the machine to the transporting vehicle's
trailer with chains.
