Note: The batteries are connected in series, the con-
nections are as follows:
• Cable (4) is positive on battery A to negative on
battery B.
• Cable (5) is negative on battery A to the battery
disconnect switch.
• Cable (6) is positive on battery B to the circuit
breaker.
1. Switch ON the battery disconnect switch.
2. Check the battery charge indicator. Refer to
Check the Batteries (previous instruction).
Start the engine and ensure that the alternator light
extinguishes indicating that the batteries are receiv-
ing charge.
Change the Light Bulbs
Headlight and Front Park Light
‹ CAUTION
Avoid allowing halogen bulbs to come into con-
tact with the skin when fitting them. Use a cloth
or the tissue paper they are wrapped in.
1. Remove the two screws (1) securing the head-
light assembly to the facia plate.

2. Pull out the headlight assembly far enough to
gain access to the wiring harness (1).

3. Disconnect the headlight bulb connector (1).

4. Remove the rubber boot (1).
