5. Remove the park brake pads (1) from the park
brake caliper.
6. Install the new park brake pads onto the park
brake caliper.
7. While holding the park brake pads install the
slide plate and secure into position.
8. Move the lever clockwise.
9. Connect the lever to the yoke assembly and se-
cure into position.
10. Start the machine and allow the system pres-
sure to build to maximum operating pressure.
11. Apply the park brake.
End Float Adjustment
There must be a maximum of 0.5 mm end float on
the oscillation tube.
Note: A lock plate with vernier holes has been in-
stalled to assist with the adjustment of the end float.
1. Securely chock the rear wheels of the machine.
2. Start the engine.
3. Select reverse (R) on the gear selector.
4. Slowly and carefully reverse the machine until
the rear wheels are hard against the chocks.

5. Tighten the lock nut fully using a chain wrench.
6. Loosen the lock nut until the first set of eight ver-
nier holes in the lock washer are aligned.
7. Install the four lock bolts and tighten to a torque
of 150 Nm (110 ft lb).
8. Remove the chocks from all the rear wheels.

Change the Batteries
Note:The procedure for removing and replacing
both batteries is similar, but take care that the cables

are re-connected correctly. Note the connections on
removal to avoid connecting them incorrectly on re-
connection.
1. Open the battery box lid to gain access to the
batteries.
2. Switch OFF the battery disconnect switch.

3. Lift the rubber terminal covers (1) and unscrew
and remove the battery terminal nuts from the
battery.
4. Remove the cables from the terminals.
5. Unscrew and remove the nuts (2) and remove
the clamping bracket (3).
6. Remove the battery and clean the battery cable
lugs.

7. Fit a new battery and re-connect the cables.
