Managing the BD FocalPoint™ GS Review Station Server

Source Path: The source path field shows the source of the signed out slides to be archived.
The source path is set at the time of installation and should not be changed.
Destination Path: This shows the destination for where the archived slides will be sent.
Select the path as seen in the figure above (C:\Archives) or create a destination path to send
information to an external hard drive, if available. For example F:\Archives. Remember this
path when looking for slides in the future. BD FocalPoint™ GS Review Stations are mapped
to the destination path.
Enable Archive Reminder Message: This box should be checked to generate archive
reminders. The default is 30 days after last archive. It is recommended to change this value
to 3 in order to generate reminders every three days.
2 Click Archive Now.
The slides that have met the selected criteria will be archived. These slides will be moved out
of the database and will no longer be part of the slide list on the BD FocalPoint™ GS Review
Station.
During archiving, the list of slides being archived and the status appears on the display.
Once archiving is complete, the Archive Results message window appears. This window
displays the archiving results information.
NOTE
All users need to be signed off the BD FocalPoint™ GS Review
Stations while archiving is taking place.
