The specimen results for each slide:
Squamous cells: Detected/Insufficient
Endocervical cells: Detected/Insufficient
Inflammation/Obscuration: Less than 50% (Satisfactory), between 50–75% (SBLB), or
greater than 75% (Unsatisfactory).

Date: The date and time each slide completed processing.

Process Status: A message appears in this area indicating the status of the scan. The
message most likely to be seen is Scan Completed. However, when slides are rejected, or
the scanning process did not complete, a reason is printed under the Message column of the
report.
10 Additional information is printed as appropriate in the message column. Refer to Section 21
for a description of these messages.

Sample Reports

Because the information on each type of report is similar, rather than showing all possible
combinations for each report, selected examples of each type of report are illustrated on the
following pages. Various sorting and layout options are used in the examples to present as
complete an array of reports as possible. Also, for each type of report, pay particular attention to
the suggested sorting and layout options presented in the section following each example.
12.3.1

Slide Result Report

The Slide Result report in the Report Options and Reprint Options windows lists the slide results
in a tabular format sorted by rank, barcode number, and date (see Figure 12-4). This report is
useful for sorting slides by result category.
