Do not clean the instrument while it is processing slides.
To clean the outer surfaces of the instrument:

Make sure that no slides are processing.

Spray the cloth with the cleaner.
3
Wipe the surfaces of the instrument clean.
SHOCK AND FIRE POTENTIAL WHEN POWER APPLIED
CONNECTOR INDICATES POTENTIAL SHOCK HAZARD.
ENSURE THAT THE SYSTEM IS CONNECTED TO A POWER
RECEPTACLE THAT PROVIDES VOLTAGE AND CURRENT
WITHIN THE SPECIFIED RATING FOR THE SYSTEM. USE OF
AN INCOMPATIBLE POWER RECEPTACLE MAY PRODUCE
GROUNDED. NEVER USE A TWO-PRONG PLUG ADAPTER TO
CONNECT PRIMARY POWER TO THE SYSTEM. USE OF A
GROUND, CREATING A POTENTIAL SHOCK HAZARD.
ALWAYS CONNECT THE SYSTEM POWER CORD DIRECTLY
TO AN APPROPRIATE RECEPTACLE WITH A FUNCTIONAL

Printer Maintenance

The printer requires the following periodic maintenance:
Replacement of the toner cartridge
Occasional cleaning
Refer to the manual that came with the printer for periodic maintenance procedures.
