To define a QC Review Report:
1
Follow steps 1 through 4 in Section 14.1.2 to define a QC Review report with the desired sort
order and layout options.
2
Tab to the QC Review Report area and in the Portion (%) of Review Slides area specify the
percentage of Review slides to print on the QC Review reports (see Figure 14-2). The
minimum percentage is fixed at 25% but can be adjusted to a maximum of 100%. Specifying
a percentage greater than the normal QC review percentage ensures that this report
contains enough slides to supplement the 15% QC Review population, if necessary. For
example, some of the slides listed for QC review are not eligible for QC rescreening because
they were classified as abnormal by the screening cytotechnologist. Also, this practice
ensures that more pages than needed for selecting slides for QC review don't have to be
printed.
3
Follow steps 5 and 6 in Section 14.1.2 to complete the process.
Keep in mind that any QC Review reports that are defined are automatically printed when the
Print button is selected in the Reports window.
