Miscellaneous Operating Tasks

Oven Temperature Control

The oven modeling temperature is determined by the loaded material type. It
is controlled by the system software and cannot be modified. However, the
operator does have control of some oven temperature functions.
Set Oven to Build Temp
controlled build temperature for the loaded material.
Cool Down Oven to
standby temperature for the loaded material.
Auto Cool Oven
system controlled standby temperature is reached - this takes
about 30 minutes. This option acts as an energy saver when PC,
PC-ABS, or PPSF materials are being used. It also helps to prevent
part cracking when building large, thick parts with PPSF. Auto-
cool down can be set to
OFF.
After Next Job
auto-cool down mode will automatically reset to OFF.
After Every Job
oven temperature will stay at the material's standby temperature.
: After every job is built, the oven temperature will stay at the
OFF
material's build temperature.
To control oven temperature:

From the Main Menu select
Build Job..
>Operator Control..
Modeler Status..
Maintenance..

Select
Temp Control
Unlock Door <E>
Load/Unload Mtl..
Change Tips/Mtl..
Calibrate..
3.
Select one of the temperature parameters (as shown below) and press
ENTER.
Set Oven to Build Temp:
Cool Down Oven to:
>Auto Cool Oven:
