Network Security Parameters Defined
Parameter
Definition
Encryption Mode
Select the encryption your network is using.
WPA2 uses CCMP encryption.
WPA2-WPA uses CCMP for pair-wise encryption
but allows TKIP for group encryption.
Key Selection
Specify which WEP key is active.
WEP Key
Fill in at least one of these fields if you set
Encryption Mode to WEP 64 bit encryption or
to WEP 128 bit encryption.
These values are ignored unless the encryption
mode is 64 or 128 bit WEP.
Authentication
Select the type of security that you are

implementing in your wireless network. Intermec
recommends that you do not use Shared Key.
User ID
Enter the logon user ID that EasyLAN Wireless
uses to authenticate to the 802.1x-enabled
network. The user ID must be in the
authentication server database.
Password
Enter the logon password that EasyLAN Wireless
uses to authenticate to the 802.1x-enabled
network. The password must be in the
authentication server database.
Certificate
Enter the name of the certificate on the primary
Common Name 1
authentication server. If the common name is
blank, all certificates are accepted.
Certificate
Enter the name of the certificate on the secondary
Common Name 2
authentication server.

The default values in the "Network Security Parameters Defined" table are
compatible with the default, out-of-the-box settings for a MobileLAN
access WA2X access point with the embedded authentication server
enabled for TTLS. If you plan to use another access point, you may need
to adjust the parameters.
