Configuring the Parallel Port
EasyLAN Wireless User's Manual
You can use the web browser interface to change the default settings for
the parallel port, which is also called the printer port. EasyLAN Wireless
communicates with the printer through an internal parallel port for the
3400e, 4420, and 4440 printers.
Note: You should change the parallel port configuration only if you are
directed to do so by Intermec Technical Support.
To configure the parallel port
1 Receive instructions from Intermec Technical Support that list exactly
which settings need to change.
2 Log in to the EasyLAN Wireless web page. For help, see "Logging In to
the EasyLAN Wireless Web Browser Interface" on page 25.
3 Click Printer Port. The Printer Port Settings page appears.
4 (Optional) Read Port Name, Job Queue, Status, and Port Type to
find out information about the parallel port.
5 (Optional) Scroll down and click Cancel Print Job to cancel the
current print job.
6 (Optional) Scroll down and click Job Log to view the job log.
7 Configure the parallel port parameters. For information on the
parameters, see "Parallel Port Parameters Defined" on page 48.
