Using Console Commands to Reload or Update Firmware

5 Enter the name of the firmware upgrade file in the Firmware file name
field.
6 Enter the IP address of the TFTP server in the TFTP Server IP address
field.
7 If the page contains the Network Card Update Password field, enter
the current update password. The default is
8 Click Submit. The green LED on your EasyLAN Wireless begins
blinking. The help text area at the bottom of the page clears. The
message, "Done," appears in the bottom left corner of the window.
9 After about a minute, click Logout. The Printer Status page appears,
and the Firmware Version field displays the version of the firmware
that you just downloaded. Your EasyLAN Wireless is now ready to
communicate or configure.
You can use console commands and HyperTerminal to download a
firmware file from your PC.
To reload or update firmware using console commands and HyperTerminal
1 Download the latest firmware to your PC from the Intermec web site at
www.intermec.com.
2 Connect EasyLAN Wireless to a PC serial port. For help, see
"Connecting EasyLAN Wireless to Your PC" on page 9.
3 On your PC, open a HyperTerminal session. You must use the serial
communications settings shown in the next table.
