Check Clearances Between Power Sweep And
Bin Wall/Floor
DANGER
NEVER ENTER BIN UNLESS ALL POWER IS LOCKED
OUT AND ANOTHER PERSON IS PRESENT.
Exposed auger and moving parts can cause severe in-
jury or death. Rotating augers are dangerous! Flowing
grain may trap and suffocate.
FAILURE TO HEED THIS WARNING MAY CAUSE SERI-
OUS INJURY OR DEATH.
DANGER
ROTATING AUGER HAZARD KEEP AWAY
To prevent serious injury or death from rotating
augers:
1. Do not enter bin unless power is locked out.
2. Turn machine OFF, shut down and lock out power
source, unplug power cord and wait for all moving parts
to stop before inspecting, servicing or repairing machine.
3. Keep body, hair, and clothing away from moving parts.
4. Stay away from rotating augers. Keep others away.
FAILURE TO HEED THIS WARNING MAY CAUSE
SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
5 - MAINTENANCE
The Power Sweep auger flighting should be checked for
clearance between the grain bin floor and auger flighting every
100 hours of operation.
1. Clear area of bystanders.
2. Ensure the grain bin is completely empty of all product.
3. Ensure backboard clearance is 1/4" -1/2".
4. If adjustment is necessary, then proceed to the following
pages.
