Adjust the Power Sweep Backboard

The Power Sweep backboard should not normally require
adjustment. The backboard can be adjusted in cases where
the Power Sweep is leaving grain on the bin floor or if the
backboard gets stuck on the bin floor. To adjust, the backboard
use the following steps.
DANGER
NEVER ENTER BIN UNLESS ALL POWER IS LOCKED
OUT AND ANOTHER PERSON IS PRESENT.
Exposed auger and moving parts can cause severe in-
jury or death. Rotating augers are dangerous! Flowing
grain may trap and suffocate.
FAILURE TO HEED THIS WARNING MAY CAUSE SERI-
OUS INJURY OR DEATH.
DANGER
ROTATING AUGER HAZARD KEEP AWAY
To prevent serious injury or death from rotating
augers:
1. Do not enter bin unless power is locked out.
2. Turn machine OFF, shut down and lock out power
source, unplug power cord and wait for all moving parts
to stop before inspecting, servicing or repairing machine.
3. Keep body, hair, and clothing away from moving parts.
4. Stay away from rotating augers. Keep others away.
FAILURE TO HEED THIS WARNING MAY CAUSE
SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
5 - MAINTENANCE
1. Clear area of bystanders.
2. Ensure the grain bin is completely empty of all product.
3. Ensure backboard clearance is 1/4" -1/2".
4. If adjustment is required, loosen the (Qty. 3) "3/8"-16
Flange Nuts" 9 .

5. Tilt the backboard down make the auger flighting more
aggressive and closer to the grain bin floor.

6. Tilt the backboard to make the auger flighting less ag-
gressive and further away from the grain bin floor.

7. Tighten bolts/nuts after adjusting.
