CONTROLS

Before starting to work, all operators should familiarize them-
selves with the location and function of the controls.
All controls for the unloader are conveniently located on the
u-trough tube outside the grain bin.

Discharge Slide Gates

The position of the discharge slide gates are controlled by
the controls on the u-trough tube outside the grain bin. The
rack & pinion controlled gate position can be used to set the
discharge rate of the system. One "Gate Control Handle" is
provided with each system.
A. Center Gate Control:
This control sets the position of the center discharge gate.
Turn clockwise (CW) to open the center discharge gate and
counterclockwise (CCW) to close.

B. Intermediate Gate(s) Control:
This control sets the position of the intermediate discharge
gate's. Turn clockwise to close the intermediate discharge
gate and counterclockwise to open.

4 - WORKING OPERATIONS

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1 - Open center hopper gate first, unload until grain flow stops. Only when NO grain remains
above the center hopper can the intermediate hopper gate(s) be opened.
STEP 2 - Open the intermediate hopper gate(s) until grain flow stops.
STEP 3 - Stop the motor, engage the bin sweep gearbox lever to remove the remaining grain.
STEP 4 - Close all hopper gates and empty the remaining grain from the u-trough.
STEP 5 - Stop the motor, disengage bin sweep gearbox lever, return bin sweep over the hoppers.
STEP 6 - The grain bin is now ready to be refilled.

C. Center Gate Control Storage Location:
The storage location for the "Gate Control Handle" is as
shown below.

Electrical Power On/Off Switch

There are a variety of methods to control electrical power to
the system depending on power requirements and type of
facilities. Power should be provided by a certified electrician
with switches or plug-ins at the bin and a shut off switch lo-
cated on the master power panel.
