Clean and Wash the Equipment

Clean the Power Sweep on a regular basis. Regular and
thorough cleaning will lengthen equipment life and reduce
maintenance and repair
DANGER
NEVER ENTER BIN UNLESS ALL POWER IS LOCKED
OUT AND ANOTHER PERSON IS PRESENT.
Exposed auger and moving parts can cause severe in-
jury or death. Rotating augers are dangerous! Flowing
grain may trap and suffocate.
FAILURE TO HEED THIS WARNING MAY CAUSE SERI-
OUS INJURY OR DEATH.
DANGER
ROTATING AUGER HAZARD KEEP AWAY
To prevent serious injury or death from rotating
augers:
1. Do not enter bin unless power is locked out.
2. Turn machine OFF, shut down and lock out power
source, unplug power cord and wait for all moving parts
to stop before inspecting, servicing or repairing machine.
3. Keep body, hair, and clothing away from moving parts.
4. Stay away from rotating augers. Keep others away.
FAILURE TO HEED THIS WARNING MAY CAUSE
SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
5 - MAINTENANCE
1. Clean out excess material from all areas of the Power
Sweep.
2. Wash the unload auger that extends outside of the grain
bin with a water hose or pressure washer until all dirt,
mud, debris, or residue is gone.
3. Provide sufficient time for the equipment to dry.
