3.0 INSTALLATION

Installation Safety

1. Read and understand ALL the information in the Opera-
tor's Manual.
2. Perform as much of the assembly outside the grain bin
as possible.
3. Do not proceed with the installation if it seems too dan-
gerous. If you're not sure if it is a safe installation – DO
NOT try to do it yourself. Call for professional help.
4. Thoroughly plan every installation. Carefully think through
the job, and don't take dangerous shortcuts.
5. If you must enter the bin, you must do the following:
• Shut off and lock out all power.
• Use a safety harness and a safety line.
• Station persons outside the bin to assist.
• Avoid the center of the bin.
• Wear proper breathing equipment.
FAILURE TO HEED THIS WARNING MAY CAUSE SERIOUS
INJURY OR DEATH
DANGER
NEVER ENTER BIN UNLESS ALL POWER IS LOCKED
OUT AND ANOTHER PERSON IS PRESENT.
Exposed auger and moving parts can cause severe in-
jury or death. Rotating augers are dangerous! Flowing
grain may trap and suffocate.
FAILURE TO HEED THIS WARNING MAY CAUSE SERI-
OUS INJURY OR DEATH.
3 - INSTALLATION
ROTATING AUGER HAZARD KEEP AWAY
To prevent serious injury or death from rotating
augers:
1. Do not enter bin unless power is locked out.
2. Turn machine OFF, shut down and lock out power
source, unplug power cord and wait for all moving parts
to stop before inspecting, servicing or repairing machine.
3. Keep body, hair, and clothing away from moving parts.
4. Stay away from rotating augers. Keep others away.
FAILURE TO HEED THIS WARNING MAY CAUSE
SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
