STORAGE

Preparing For Storage
After the season's use or when the Power Sweep will not be
used for a period of time, completely inspect all major systems
of the Power Sweep.
Replace or repair any worn or damaged components to
prevent any unnecessary down time at the beginning of the
next season.
Follow these procedures before storing:
1. Inspect all rotating parts for entanglements. Remove
anything caught in the mechanisms.
2. If Powerhead is removed for storage, install the "U-Trough
Tube Rodent Cover" 1 on end of "U-Trough" 2 with
(Qty. 4) "1/2-13 X 1 Bolts" 3 , & "1/2-13 Nuts" 4 .

3. Thoroughly wash the unit to remove all dirt, mud and
debris.
4. Check the condition of the components. Repair, replace
or adjust as required. Tighten any loose hardware.
5. Lubricate all fittings and fill grease cavities to remove
moisture as described in the maintenance section.
6. Touch up all paint nicks and scratches to prevent rusting.
7. Store the Power Sweep powerhead inside for protection
from the weather. If the Power Sweep powerhead must
be stored outside, cover with a waterproof tarpaulin and
tie down securely.,
