2500 Hours Or Annually

Change Gearbox Oil

The gearbox oil must be changed every 2500 hours of op-
eration. Use the following steps to change the gearbox oil.
WARNING
HOT LIQUID HAZARD
The gearbox oil must cool before changing the oil. Hot oil
can cause burns if it contacts exposed skin.
Failure to comply could result in serious injury.
1. Allow the gearbox to cool slightly before changing oil. For
best results, drain the oil while the reservoir is still warm
to the touch (not hot).
2. Use the instructions on the following pages to expose the
gearbox for changing the oil.

3. Place a large pan or pail under the gearbox. Remove
drain plug from Upper gearbox.

4. Place a large pan or pail under the gearbox. Remove
drain plug for Lower gearbox.

5. Refill with an SAE food grade gear oil (FMO-90-AW) for
all operating conditions.
The gearbox capacities are listed below:
Upper Gearbox:

6. Check oil level. Top up as required.
7. After filling, close and secure the cap.
