SIZING SPECIFICATIONS

The Norwood Power Sweep systems are driven by electric
motors. Refer to the following tables for motor size, pulley
size and belt.

Use the table
(See"Power Requirements & Dimensional
as a guide to selecting the electric
Data" on page 7-2)
motor for your specific application. Power requirements
may vary depending on grain type and condition. They
are based on suggested flighting speeds and conveying
dry wheat.
2. Inclined Power Head
The inclined Power Head is an interchangeable option for
the base unit and slopes upward 23°. Refer to the table
(See"Table: Electric Motor Requirements" on page 7-1)
for the incremental increase in power required for this
option.
3. Flighting speed and Capacity
The capacity of the system can be controlled by the dis-
charge gate position over the discharge. Refer to the table
(See"Bushels Per Hour" on page 7-1)
observed in a variety of operating conditions at a range of
flighting speeds.

2. Use only an electric motor of adequate power to operate
the machine.
3. Check that all guards are installed, secured and function-
ing as intended. Do not operate with missing, or damaged
shields.
4. Check work site. Clean up working area to prevent slipping
or tripping.
