Check The Gearbox Oil Levels

DANGER
NEVER ENTER BIN UNLESS ALL POWER IS LOCKED
OUT AND ANOTHER PERSON IS PRESENT.
Exposed auger and moving parts can cause severe in-
jury or death. Rotating augers are dangerous! Flowing
grain may trap and suffocate.
FAILURE TO HEED THIS WARNING MAY CAUSE SERI-
OUS INJURY OR DEATH.

ROTATING AUGER HAZARD KEEP AWAY
To prevent serious injury or death from rotating
augers:
1. Do not enter bin unless power is locked out.
2. Turn machine OFF, shut down and lock out power
source, unplug power cord and wait for all moving parts
to stop before inspecting, servicing or repairing machine.
3. Keep body, hair, and clothing away from moving parts.
4. Stay away from rotating augers. Keep others away.
FAILURE TO HEED THIS WARNING MAY CAUSE
SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
5 - MAINTENANCE
The Grain Handler U-Trough Power Sweep uses (Qty. 2)
gearboxes, (Qty. 1) is located on the Power Sweep head, and
the other is at the center of the grain bin next to the center
hoper sump. It is necessary to check the gearbox oil every
100 Hours Or Monthly.
FMO-90-AW Oil Reservoir Capacity

1. Ensure the grain bin is completely empty of all product.
2. Check the level when the oil is cold by removing the cap
from the reservoir.
3. Use an a SAE food grade gear oil (FMO-90-AW) for all
operating conditions.
4. Fill the reservoir so that oil reaches the bottom of the
threads.

5. Rotate the auger flighting to remove any air inside the
gearbox.
6. Recheck oil level and add as necessary.
7. After filling, close and secure the cap.
