21. Lay a straight edge across the pulley faces to check the
alignment. Tighten the hub bolts to secure pulley on the
drive shaft. Allow for 1/4" to 3/8" of clearance between
the inside sheave face and shield back.

22. After alignment is established, tighten the sheave bolts
to secure to the shafts.
3 - INSTALLATION
23. Push on the center of the belt span with a force of ap-
proximately 5 lb.
24. The belts will deflect approximately 1.00" (25 mm) when

properly tensioned.

25. Adjust the "Motor Mount Belt Tension Lever" 57 to
give proper belt tension.
26. Close and secure the drive belt guard.
27. When the Power Sweep is not in use, reduce the belt
tension by lowering the "Motor Mount Belt Tension
Lever" 57 .
