Replacing the Drive Belts

Before your belt(s) fail, it will usually show signs
of wear. If the ribs facing the pulley are missing in
some areas, it may function quite well, but if numer-
ous ribs are missing, replace the drive belt right away.
If one side is wearing unevenly, you could have a mis-
aligned belt. This could be a problem with the pulley.
Cracks and rot are, of course, indications that you should
replace the drive belt. Any crack that's more than half-
way through the belt has to be replaced immediately.
If your drive belt is damaged, don't take chances, a damaged
belt could cause extensive damage to other components.
When in doubt, it's best to replace.
NEVER ENTER BIN UNLESS ALL POWER IS LOCKED
OUT AND ANOTHER PERSON IS PRESENT.
Exposed auger and moving parts can cause severe in-
jury or death. Rotating augers are dangerous! Flowing
grain may trap and suffocate.
FAILURE TO HEED THIS WARNING MAY CAUSE SERI-
OUS INJURY OR DEATH.
ROTATING AUGER HAZARD KEEP AWAY
To prevent serious injury or death from rotating
augers:
1.
Do not enter bin unless power is locked out.
2.
Turn machine OFF, shut down and lock out power source,
unplug power cord and wait for all moving parts to stop before
inspecting, servicing or repairing machine.
3.
Keep body, hair, and clothing away from moving parts.
4.
Stay away from rotating augers. Keep others away.
FAILURE TO HEED THIS WARNING MAY CAUSE
SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
