Machine Placement

Follow this procedure when placing the Power Sweep into
its working position:
1. Clear the area of bystanders, especially small children,
before starting.
2. Be sure there is enough clearance from obstructions and
other equipment to move any loading/unloading equip-
ment into its working position.

Keep away from overhead power lines. Serious
injury or death can result. Proceed cautiously under
overhead power lines and around utility poles.
Know the transport height of all your equipment.
Electrocution can occur without direct contact with
overhead electrical lines.
4 - WORKING OPERATIONS
CAUTION

Emptying the Grain Bin

Perform the following sections, in order, to fully unload the
grain bin.
1. Stage an auger or other conveyor under the discharge
outlet of the Powerhead to remove the grain.

2. Remove the Discharge Outlet Cover.

IMPORTANT
The system can be overloaded by opening discharge slide
gates too far. Overloading can cause damage to the Power
Sweep, U-Trough auger flighting, and aeration floor.
