14. Norwood Sales Inc. recommends raising the "Center
Hopper Sump" 16 1.0" higher than the disharge end by
shimming the "Support Mounting Brackets" 12 . Make
sure that there is a 1.0" decline in the tube towards the
discharge end to allow for drainage.

15. You also can keep the "U-Trough Tube" 7 level for your
installation. There are (Qty. 2) "1/8" Diameter Holes"
19 in the "Center Hopper Sump" 16 area bottom to
allow for drainage.

3 - INSTALLATION
16. Shim the "Support Mounting Brackets" 12 as neces-
sary to achieve firm mounting to the "Concrete Founda-
tion" 17 . Use a "Concrete Anchor" 21 or equivalent,
"Large Washers" 20 or some type of shim stock.

17. Check the "Hopper Gate Control Rods" 13 to be certain
that they were not bent in shipping or handling. This could
cause difficulty in opening the "Center Hopper Gate" 14
and or "Intermediate Hopper Gate(s)" 15 . Straighten
if necessary with a pry bar.
