outside the safeguarded space to resume emergency function and safeguard function. Then press and
hold the Reset Button for a fixed period of time to initiate the reset function. However, the robot system
will not initiate its motion by itself, and users have to conduct the following:
Long press STOP button on the pendant to return from Emergency function (if triggered)
Press PLAY button on the pendant to return from Safeguard function (if triggered) to robot system
normal operation.
DANGER:
Do NOT set different reset method for the robot and the system. For example, if the robot is
set in Manual Reset while the system is set into Auto reset, the pillar would move
unexpectedly. Remember to set both the robot and the system into Manual reset as
recommended.
WARNING:
The reset button shall be installed outside of the safeguarded space. Make sure the
safeguarded devices and reset button are fully functioning and the wires are securely
connected.

Operation Mode and Mode Switching

TM Palletizing Operator supports two main operation modes: Manual Mode (reduced speed and high
speed) and Auto Mode. The modes are visually distinguishable by the color of the Indication Light Ring
on the robot's end module. The robot is in Auto Mode upon system boot-up.

Auto Mode

In Auto Mode, the Indication Light Ring on the end module displays blue light, indicating TM
Palletizing Operator is in Auto position. The user can press the Play/Pause button on the Teach
Pendant to play/pause the robot program. The robot speed plays according to the project speed.
In Auto Mode, the FREE button on the end module does not actuate, and cannot perform Hand
Guiding operation.

Manual Mode

In Manual Mode the Indication Light Ring on the end module displays in green, indicating TM
Palletizing Operator is in Manual position. In Manual Mode, it can be further divided into Manual
Control Mode (Manual Reduced Speed), Manual Trial Run Mode (Manual High Speed), and
Hand Guide Mode. When the protective stop occurs, the manual control operation in Manual
Control Mode and Hand Guide Mode are prohibited by the system.
