4 - Command Set
4.3.20 Command 0x16 - Get Selected Menu Item Command (Handheld Operation Only)
The host uses this command to direct the device to present a list of up to 10 line items for a cardholder or
operator to select from. The host should first use Command 0x10 - Send Big Block Data to Device to
send the line items for the device to display, with each line item terminated by a Carriage Return, then
call this command to direct the device to prompt the cardholder or operator. When selection is complete,
the device sends Report 0x26 - Send Selected Menu Item (Handheld Operation Only) to the host.
For example, to show the following menu items:
Table1
Table2
Table3
The host should first send "Table1<CR>Table2<CR>Table3<CR><CR>" using Command 0x10 - Send
Big Block Data to Device, then call this command.
The host should keep track of each item's index in the list so it can interpret the selection the device
reports back. For example, Table1 above is index 0, and Table3 is index 2.
