make sure the device is still available, and if the connection is terminated, it should assume the device
has returned to the idle state, and cancel any pending operations.
6) The host may then send any available commands to the device's listening port until the operation is
complete or the device closes the connection (for example, a timeout occurs, or an operator powers
off the device, etc.). See section 3.3.2 How to Send Commands Using Network Connections.
7) Make sure all pending operations have completed, then close the TLS connection and TCP socket.
