Appendix H - EMV Settings (EMV Only)
Appendix H
This section lists device configuration tags available in the device for use with the commands in section
4.5 EMV-Related Commands and Reports.
In the tables in the subsections below, the Configurable column means the following:
Compile Only values are set at firmware compile time and can not be changed on any device.
Device values can not be set at all and are calculated internally by the device's firmware.
Device Config values can only be set using Command 0x09 - Set / Get Device Configuration when
the device is unlocked.
MagTek values can only be set using a properly signed command.
Manufacturer values can only be set by using a properly signed command.
Not Supported means the device does not change behavior based on the tag because the kernel is
configured and compiled with the value disabled, but the tag exists in the relevant settings database.
Read Only values are unique to a particular device, and are fixed during manufacture.
