Configuring Frame Relay
Do not configure a Backup Group Number on this DLCI at the
remote (non-initiating) end.

remote RLP does not need to be configured if the remote device is a SmartSwitch 1800

The primary and all of its backup DLCIs in the non-initiating
node must be on the same RLP.

the backup will not switch to the primary unless it (the backup) fails.

An FRM PVC is a "permanent" connection between two physical ports in a node. This
allows communication between the attached devices as soon as they are powered up,
without the need to first establish a connection.
