5.4 Electrical configuration of the ET 200AL
Electrical isolation
When electrically configuring the ET 200AL distributed I/O system, there is electrical isolation
between:
• Load voltage 2L+ and all other switching parts
• Communication interfaces (PROFINET/PROFIBUS) of the interface modules and all other
switching parts
• ET-Connection and all other switching parts
