Making the Electrical Connections

This section contains instructions for making the necessary electrical connections to the flow transmitter (see
Figure 11 below). The wiring between transmitter and transducers has been accomplished at the factory. No further
work is required on this portion of the wiring.
WARNING!
IMPORTANT: The meter spoolpiece is grounded to the electronics. This configuration must be considered when
applying cathodic protection to the pipe line. The power ground applied to the instrument should be at
the cathodic protection voltage level.

To meet CE Mark requirements, all cables must be installed as described in Appendix A,
CE Mark Compliance.
