2. Open the door.
3. Locate the door-lock solenoid you want to remove behind the front panel, as
shown in

4. Cut the cable ties securing the white solenoid cable to the frame.
5. Disconnect the solenoid cable from the cable connector.
6. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the three screws attaching the solenoid to
the front panel.
7. Remove the solenoid assembly.
14.2.2 Installing a Door-Lock Solenoid
1. Holding the solenoid in position with one hand, use a Phillips screwdriver to
replace the three screws.
2. Reconnect the white solenoid cable to the cable connector.
3. Replace the cable ties.
4. Close any open doors.
5. Apply power to the library. See
14.3 Replacing an I/O Port Open Sensor
This section provides instructions for removing an I/O port open sensor. Each I/O port
includes a sensor that can detect if the I/O port is open.
