B.5.1

Required materials

Chemical-resistant, powder-free gloves
Wrench
1/8-inch Swagelok
1/8-inch stainless steel tube (supplied with the instrument)
To connect the collision cell gas supply:
1.
Use the 1/8-inch Swagelok nut and ferrule to connect the 1/8-inch stainless steel tube to the
collision cell gas inlet on the rear of the instrument (see the figure on

Use the wrench to tighten the 1/8-inch Swagelok nut.
3.
Connect the free end of the tube to the collision gas supply.
