Warning:

Always wear eye protection when near pressurized polymer tubing.

Extinguish all nearby flames.

Do not use tubing that has been severely stressed or kinked.

Do not use nonmetallic tubing with tetrahydrofuran (THF) or concentrated nitric or
sulfuric acids.
•
Be aware that methylene chloride and dimethyl sulfoxide cause nonmetallic tubing to
swell, which greatly reduces the rupture pressure of the tubing.
Wear clean, chemical-resistant, powder-free gloves when handling samples.
