3.1 Installation Precautions

3.1.1 Precautions

To ensure the optimal operating condition and longest service life, install the NetCol8000-C
correctly as required.

Install the NetCol8000-C according to the design drawing and reserve space for
maintenance.
The downflow NetCol8000-C must be installed in the equipment room with a raised
floor.
The upflow NetCol8000-C can be directly placed on the concrete floor of the equipment
room or secured on a base.
Take appropriate thermal insulation and antifreeze measures for outdoor water pipes to
avoid poor drainage and insufficient water supply caused by freezing.
When installing, seal the top of the NetCol8000-C by using a baffle or plastic bag to
prevent dust entering.
If the NetCol8000-C has been disassembled and needs to be installed against a wall
onsite, combine the cabinets before the installation.
Check whether the environment meets the requirements before installation, and whether
reconstruction is required for routing water pipes and cables and constructing ventilation
pipes.
The equipment room should have good heat insulation, and the walls and floor should be
protected against moisture.
To ensure good ventilation, do not place the smart cooling product in the corner of a
room or at the end of a long and narrow room.
During the NetCol8000-C operation, all doors and windows of the equipment room
should be closed to reduce the additional load of the smart cooling product.
Install the NetCol8000-C in a spacious space.
The smart cooling products should be placed as far away from offices as possible, and
noise control measures should be taken.
