4.1.8 Manual Focusing Tool

Before starting a laser job, make sure correct focus distance is critical to a quality laser job. For this
purpose, a focus tool is available in the accessory box. Using the focusing tool can help you to adjust
the appropriate focusing distance.
1. Take out the manual focus tool from the accessory box and inset it to the lens carriage as below
photo shown.
2. The focus distance can be adjusted by adjusting the position of the Knife-shaped Cutting
Supporting Bars to different slots (to cover thicker working objects) or by adjusting the lens
carriage (for shorter distances fine tune)
 Adjust Knife-shaped Cutting Supporting Bars per chapter 4.1.9 mentioned, there are five
different levels of depths for Knife-shaped Supporting Bars to help you adjust focusing
distance.
 Adjust the knob of lens carriage to move the lens carriage up and down.
3. When the tip of manual focus tool touch the media surface, the correct focus distance is set up
successfully.
