T500 default design an 8" exhaust port for laser system down vacuum purpose along with a 1"
port for the lens carriage exhaust suction.

NOTE
Powerful fume extraction system is helpful to cutting edge quality and reduces the
maintenance frequency. If you are using 4" hose fume ventilation system, we recommend
you use two units of the ventilation system to empower the air flow.
4.1.4 Air Compressor Installation
The air compressor helps eliminate harmful and potentially damaging moisture from the laser
optics, maximizing laser optic life. In addition, the air compressor provides the optimal air flow to
the SmartAIR nozzles to minimize flaming, suppress working temperatures, and blow away dust
and particle byproducts generated from the laser process.
