    The Print Control menu has been added between the Info Pages menu and the Energy Save menu in the printer’s front panel menu system. (See Chapter 2 of the Elite XL User’s Manual for detailed information about the Elite XL front panel menu system.)

  • Page 4: Smoothing

    600 or 800 dpi. Interface access: Front Panel. Smoothing can be turned on and off through the printer’s front panel. The Smoothing option is located in the Print Control menu. Smoothing option settings are Enabled and Disabled; Disabled is the default.

  • Page 5: Using Tonermiser And Smoothing

    If TonerMiser is set to Enabled in the printer’s front panel, the Smoothing submenu will not appear. However, if you want to apply smoothing to your current print job, and TonerMiser is set to Enabled in the printer’s front panel, choose Disabled from the TonerMiser pop-up menu in the Print Options dialog box, and then choose Enabled from the Smoothing pop-up menu.
