III. OPERATION
Switch on the air compressor unit and make sure the airflow regulator on the air assist valve is
opened (turn clockwise to increase the airflow, counter-clockwise to decrease the airflow). Check
the air nozzle under the lens carriage emit a steady flow of air.
With the air nozzle and air compressor properly installed and operating, all configurations and
settings relating to air-assist functions are controlled through the LaserPro T500 print driver and
hardware control panel. Please refer to the LaserPro T500 print driver Pen Page setting in section
5.2.3.2 of this manual for details on how to enable and configure air-assist functionalities.

4.1.5 Water Chiller Installation (Only for 150/ 200W Models)

The water cooler that will be connected to the machine consists of a cooling system, and two
tubes that allow inflow and outflow of water. When you turn the power on, the cooling system is
activated and delivers cool water to the laser module to absorb heat produced there, and then
brings it back to the cooling system to cool down.
Please read the user manual comes along with the water chiller before setup and operation.
The water chiller is an external device that has to be connected to the laser machine for cooling
down the laser tube. For water chiller setup and adding water, please refer to the water chiller
manual on the device. Here we will show you some basic tubing connection, follow the steps to
connect the water chiller with laser system.
