 Always clean and lubricate the rails after working with materials that produce lots of debris (such as
wood).

Too much oil applied to the X / Y rails will speed up the accumulation of debris.

8.3 Mirrors and lenses

The mirrors and the focus lenses are the two components most likely to require cleaning periodically.
Check these parts at least twice a week to see if they need cleaning.
