Confirm all the settings in the [全般]
(General) tab.
: When two or more modems are connected to
the PC, make sure that [FOMA SH02A] in [接続
の方法] (Connection method) shows E. When
H appears instead, change to E. For modems
other than [FOMA SH02A], change E to H.
: Confirm that [ダイヤル情報を使う] (Use dialing
rules) shows H. When E appears instead,
change to H.

Click the [ネットワーク] (Networking)
tab and check all the settings.
: Set [呼び出すダイヤルアップサーバーの種類]
(Type of dial-up server to call) to
[PPP: Windows95/98/NT4/2000, Internet].
: Only [インターネットプロトコル (TCP/IP)]
(Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)) should show E.

Click [設定] (Settings).
: The PPP setting screen appears.

Check all options to show H and
click [OK].
: Properties screen of the host reappears.

Click [OK].
: The host and TCP/IP protocol are set.
: Refer to P. 19 for details on connecting to
dial-up network.

Example: Connecting to the dial-up network via
FOMA USB Cable with Charge
Function 01/02 on Windows Vista
The screens are different for Windows XP and
Windows 2000.

Connect the FOMA terminal to your
PC via FOMA USB Cable with
Charge Function 01/02.

Click [スタート] (Start) menu b [接
続先] (Connect to).
: The dial-up network screen appears.
For Windows XP
: Click [スタート] (Start) menu b [すべてのプロ
グラム] (All programs) b [アクセサリ]
(Accessories) b [通信] (Communications) b
[ネットワーク接続] (Network connections).
For Windows 2000
: Click [スタート] (Start) menu b [プログラム]
(Programs) b [アクセサリ] (Accessories) b
[通信] (Communications) b [ネットワークとダ
イヤルアップ接続] (Network and dial-up
connections).

Double-click the connection icon.
: The connection screen appears.
: Alternatively, select the host icon and then
select [接続] (Connect) in the [ファイル] (File)
menu to display the connection screen.
