Before installing DOCOMO
Connection Manager
Installation flow

STEP１ Setup preparation
Prepare the FOMA terminal and the
FOMA USB Cable with Charge
Function 01/02 (sold separately) or the
FOMA USB Cable (sold separately).
STEP２ Confirming the content of
subscription
Confirm the content of subscription to
the service and Internet service
provider.
STEP３ Changing the settings
If the connection software other than
DOCOMO Connection Manager is
installed, change the setting as
necessary not to activatie automatically.
Refer to "Using the connection software
other than DOCOMO Connection
Manager" on P. 8.
Setting Internet Explorer
Before installing this software, set the
connection setting to [ダイヤルしない] (No) on
the internet opition of Internet Explorer.

Activate Internet Explorer and click [ツール]
(Tool) b [インターネットオプション］ (Internet
option).

Click the [接続] (Connection) tab and then select
[ダイヤルしない] (No).

Click [OK].

Logon with a user which uses
DOCOMO Connection Manager.
For Windows Vista
: Administrator account is required. If PC is
logged on with other than manager account, a
screen to enter the user name and password
appears during install.
For Windows XP and Windows 2000
: Logon with a user which belongs to the
Administrators Group or a user of "Computer
administrator".

End all activating applications
: Programs remained on Windows including
anti-virus software are also ended.
Example: Right-click the icon displayed in the task
bar and select [閉じる] (close) or [終了]
(Exit).
Using the connection software other than
DOCOMO Connection Manager
This software has built-in functions equal to the
following software. The following software is not
required to be used simultaneously.
※ Change the setting not to activate or uninstall
them as necessary.

FOMA PC configuration software
FOMA byte counter
In addition, when using Mzone (public wireless LAN
connection) with this software, uninstall the following
public wireless LAN connection software.
※ If the following software is installed
simultaneously, Mzone connection with this
software is not available.

DOCOMO public wireless LAN utility program

Follow steps 1 to 5 of "Installing
FOMA communication
configuration file (Driver)" on P. 5.

Click [インストールする] (Install).
: If the driver has already been installed,
installation is available from [インターネット接
続] (Internet connection) b [ドコモ コネクショ
ンマネージャのインストール] (Installing
DOCOMO Connection Manager).

Click [続行] (Continue).
: For Windows XP and Windows 2000, User
Account Control screen does not appear. The
setup program is activated soon.
