Connection Manager).
: When the software is activated for the first time,
the setting wizard appear. Operate and make
the setting according to the guidance from the
software to prepare for the connection to the
Internet. Refer to "DOCOMO Connection
Manager operation manual.pdf" for details.
Communication is not disconnected by only ending
the internet browser or mail software.
Be sure to disconnect the communication with [切断
する] (Disconnect) button of DOCOMO Connection
Manager when communication is not in use.
If the automatic update is set for updating OS, etc.,
the software is automatically updated and it may lead
to higher Packet transmission charges.

communication
This section describes how to set up packet
transmission and 64K data communication
without using DOCOMO Connection Manager.
To make the settings, communication software for
entering AT commands are required. "Hyper
terminal", which is included as standard with
Windows, is used here.
The flow for setting up with use of AT commands is as
follows.
To use 64K data communication, there is no host
(APN) setting.
Windows Vista is not compatible with "Hyper terminal".
Use Windows Vista compatible software to set up
communications (follow the instructions for the
software).
Start up communication software that supports AT

Install the FOMA communication configuration file
before making settings for packet transmission and
64K data communication (nP. 4).
AT commands are commands for controlling the
Connect/
modem. The FOMA terminal is compliant with AT
Disconnect
commands and also supports some extended
button
commands, as well as some unique AT commands.
Making host (APN) settings is not necessary when
using mopera U or mopera, the DOCOMO Internet
connection service, since it is set as the default.
Set Notify caller ID as necessary (When using
mopera U or mopera, set [Send]). The default setting
is [Not send].
Set other settings as necessary. Use is possible with
the default settings.
